Why should I disable Jetpack modules?

Jetpack gives you many features or modules which are not necessary for you. Every feature or module works like a separate plugin which loads HTML code and javascript for every page load. So they will increase your page size and reduce the page load time.

When you need better speed, it is best to disable unnecessary Jetpack modules. I use Google analytics for the stats, so I don’t need site stats module which will have the load on my every page load. So I have disabled it. If you use contact form plugins like WPforms, you don’t have to use Jetpack contact form module so you can disable that. Like wise, you need to disable unnecessary features.

How to Disable Jetpack Modules

Earlier Jetpack was giving the direct option to disable the modules in settings. But the latest version has no option to disable the Jetpack module. But we have the trick to disable unnecessary modules.

1) Login to your WordPress dashboard.

2) Go to Jetpack -> Settings in the left menu.

3) Scroll down the page completely. Select Debug option at the end of the page.

4) Scroll down the page and select Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site.

Now you will see all modules.

5) Just place the cursor on any one of the modules you will see the options to activate, deactivate, and to configure.
